Founded by Patients, for Patients

The National Scoliosis Foundation (NSF) is a patient-led nonprofit organization dedicated since 1976 to helping children, parents, adults, and health-care providers to understand the complexities of spinal deformities such as scoliosis. Severe scoliosis impacts the quality of life, putting pressure on the heart, diminishing lung capacity, and limiting physical activity. Thankfully, through early detection and treatment advances, the worst effects of scoliosis may be prevented. We are involved in all aspects of scoliosis support, whether the issue is early detection through screening programs, treatment methods, pain management, or patient care. Our focus is on promoting public awareness, providing reliable information, fostering ongoing research in the field, and educating and nurturing the community of those affected by scoliosis.

On this # GivingTuesday we humbly ask for your support at www.scoliosis.org/donate/ for the Early Detection & Prevention of Progressive Spinal Deformity.

We invite you to join this global day of giving through your donation to support our mission for early detection and treatment to minimize the impact scoliosis may have in a child’s life.

This year we celebrate our 40th Anniversary of awareness campaigns, screening programs, education/support and patient advocacy.

We have accomplished much with your previous help; however, the year ahead is critical and we must not rest until all children, regardless of race, creed, residence and/or socioeconomic condition, have access to early detection, diagnosis, and optimal treatment.

Your donation on this # GivingTuesday will help make a positive difference in someone’s life.

You can use the Donate button on this page, or go to www.scoliosis.org/donate/

Thank you for your support!
