Hi, I have "mild" scoliosis which causes me quite a bit of pain and tightness in my back.
my lower shoulder is the right one, I also happen to be right handed. I was wondering whether thats normally the case that your lower shoulder is the same side as the hand you use most ?
I also tend to try and stretch the tight side of my back by stretching my arm over my head and bending the middle of my back the opposite way from the scoliosis bend.none of my osteopaths have suggested i do this, but it seems to be the natural thing to do to try and straighten it.
Does anyone know if this is the right thing to do or is it jusy straining my already strained muscles even more ?
