Hello. I had idiopathic scoliosis at 13 & had a metal rod & fusion. I'm just trying to find out as a 36 year old female, potential problems now & later in life & how best to avoid them ie exercise, lifestyle & treatments/complementary therapies. What works for other peple in a similar situation because I feel isolated? I did see an osteopath but I lost trust in her treatment. Does anyone have any advice at all? I find that consultants were good at operating but long term aftercare is difficult to sort out. Thanks for any ideas.
