Any other girls in MD wearing a brace

Just looking for someone else in our area who is wearing brace for scoliosis like my daughter. We are seeing a doctor at Hopkins. My 11yo daughter is having a tough time adjusting to wearing her TLSO brace (for scoliosis and kyphosis), which she's supposed to wear full time

Hopefully you're successful in finding someone here, but if you are unable to find any brace wearing kids in Maryland online, you might check with her doctor or her orthotist for any support groups in the area or other kids she might be able to talk with. Some areas seem to be very lucky to have a support group for kids wearing braces to help them through it. Good luck!

We're in Northern Virginia but travel to Hopkins to go to Dr. Sponseller's office. As of now we've been seeing Kristen Venuti there. My daughter is also 11 and is wearing an RSC brace 23 hours a day. She's doing really well with it but is starting to get a little nervous about starting middle school.
