I posted on another thread that I am having all the symptoms of a failed fusion for the second time. I went for a myelogram and catscan the other day, but until I find out exactly what's going on I have a question.
I don't recall if this has been covered before, but - if it turns out I'm not fusing, what's the real reason for a failed fusion and are there alternatives other than another surgery to "pack it in" again and hope it works.
All my bone density tests categorize me as "excellent." I take a mutivitamin, vitamin E, and 1800 mg of calcium and 600 IU of Vitamin D daily. Other than my back and carrying too many pounds which I endlessly try to lose, I am in good health.
Any ideas or any research references you know about? Thanks.
