Hi,
I need some information. I've been having hydrotherapy to strengthen my abdominal muscles after scoliosis surgery (I've had two surgeries one to put rods in and another to remove them.) But it now seems that I have developed trochanteric bursitis (bursitis in the hip).
I have had two steroid injections with local anaesthetic in them (within two months) and have been told I can only have one more if this doesn't work. My mum has been doing some research and it seems that bursitis is a complication of scoliosis, but I've never heard of it before. Has anyone else had this experience or developed bursitis in their hip?
