Hello to everyone:
I am 49 years old and have had already multiple scoliosis surgeries in my lifetime, none of which were very successful, at least in reference to what they are doing today. My last surgery was in 2001, which there were a lot of complications, not in the surgery itself but with the "aftercare." The hospital was not very well staffed. And certainly was not equipped or knowledgeable for handling severe scoliosis surgeries. And for some unexplainable reason my doctor who performed the surgery has never given me a referral for a second opinion, even though I have asked on numerous occasions. It is almost like he does not want another scoliosis surgeon reviewing my case or the surgery that was performed by him. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but I am almost 50 now and was hoping that there might have been a few more advances in scoliosis revision, and just possibly I may have a chance on getting just a little better before it is too late in my life. Thank you very much, www.FrankieBush.net
