      • I need prayers. My brother's case has surfaced again and I am expected to be in NJ the Monday after Thanksgiving. There is no way that I can travel to NJ. We have no money . I am getting food from our town's food bank.

So please pray . I Know that God is in charge but it is so hard to let him handle my life

        Thanks
        Melissa

          • Hi Melissa. I'm not sure what the situation in N.J. is but I am glad you are not being expected to travel. I am so glad that you are able to get doctor's letters in order to postpone this situation until you are much, much more able to travel. I hope the Dilaudid is helping with your pain and you are coping with this added stress.

            • Melissa, IF it is a deposition that is needed, that could be done
long distance...i do not know if that is what you were going to NJ for...
but letters from doctors should be able to delay...the thing is, it would
be great if it all could be handled long distance...
              sorry for the added stress...

You are always in my prayers! So much to handle. Hope this situation is taken care of. The deposition should be able to be done w/o going to NJ! Janet

                    • Dr Bederman wrote a excellent letter to the judge telling all about my prior surgeries, future surgeries and all the pain that I am in. He wrote that pain is made worse by emotional stress. He said that I cannot travel for more than 60 minutes at a time. My day consists of sleeping and napping. He , also, told the judge about all the major drugs that I am on. I am unable to be in one position for more than 10 minutes at a time before I have to change postion

I have not heard from my lawyer in several weeks. He was in the path of Sandy. I wonders what happens if all his files are lost

                      Take care

                        That made me grin.

As always, I am amazed at how compassionate and willing to help, Dr. Bederman is. Sometimes it may seem you don't have much luck, but finding Dr. Bederman was so much more than a piece of good fortune. I hope this has been able to put your mind at ease and lose some of the pain of stress. Hang in there Melissa!

Happy Thanksgiving to you too Melissa. I hope the GI can find the source of your pain and give you some relief. Otherwise, are you and your husband doing well?
