    • Melissa--
I definitely have times when my back really hurts due to overdoing, weather changes, and oh yeah stress!! I think you've had a ton of that. Heat (my heating pad is always at the ready), meds, massage, whatever it takes to get you through this. Give 'em a try. Hang in there. Janet

            • Melissa: I followed your blog, but have been off line for almost 2 weeks as I traveled to FIJI doing a medical project. Internet is iffy here, so I cannot get on all of the time. Things look pretty good then, but I just caught up with everything that has happened recently. So sorry to hear of your husband's problems and your need to cancel your surgery. I will include him and you in my prayers.

You have to be one amazing woman! I wish that I could carry part of your burden and give you a little bit of rest! I know that you will get through this OK as you have faced all of your other challenges. Take some deep breaths occasionally and close your eyes and try to feel the warmth and love that has come from so many on your thread here.

Re: your back hurting...stress and anxiety play a toll on every part of us and your back is the most vulnerable part of you. Are you sleeping well, eating well, resting in the afternoon, or taking any "self care time" for yourself??? I can't imagine that you are. I hope that the heating pad helps.

Thinking of you and your family and hoping that things start to turn around for you. HUGS, Susan
