    • Melissa, I'm so sorry to read that. If it's bad enough, perhaps a call to Dr. Bederman might be called for? Or a trip to the Emergency Dept. How are you coping? It sounds awful. Have you been lying down?

I'll be shutting down for the evening shortly, but will check in, in the morning. I do hope you can get some help for that pain.

              • Morning (our time) Melissa. Glad to hear Dr. Bederman is still standing by you and not drifted off as so many surgeons seem to do after you go home. This much at least, must be such a relief for you. Fingers crossed for this new medication. Did he say what the new meds are treating? I can't imagine it's the hardware, they screw it all in so tightly, I think it takes a lot to dislodge anything. Will be looking out for some progress soon. Hang in there. Thinking of you. You'll get there!

He said that it should quiet down the nerves but it will take several days.

People care about you. I also admire you. You have been on a long, hard road and deserve to catch a break. You will get that break because you earned it.

                      Best regards,

                      • Same here Melissa. Every day I read to see if you are doing maybe just a tad better even though your still in the hardest part of recovery.

The nerves can be hard to “quiet down”. Hang in there, its an extremely slow process recovering sometimes.
