        • Sleeping sounds good to me! Perhaps it's because your shoulder is less painful and you probably have some sleep to catch up on after recent stressful times. I think it's a good sign.

                    • When to have surgery?

I don't know when to have the shoulder surgery.

I can have it as soon as March 5th and any Monday after that.

                      What do you think?

After he does the surgery, I will not be able to do anything for the next 2 weeks .

                      Then I will start PT

We are moving into the house March 24

                      I need your advice

                      • That's a hard one Melissa!

Under the circumstances (your very difficult road) I think I'd opt to take care of myself first. Have the surgery and when you move, leave it to your husband/friends/removalists to do the work. That would be my advice. It might be different if the shoulder was your only problem. But this is your chance to fix one of several things that are causing you pain, so go for it.

                        • I made the choice to move first and then the surgery. I need to have my things where I know I can get to them. I will have a very comfortable bed with a massager in the new house. I am having my shoulder surgery April 9, the day after Easter

                          • Skin feels tight

From my July 2011 surgery, I am about 7 months out. I am trying to figure out if this feeling of tight skin is a surgical or fibro problem. Did any one else have this feeling? I did not have it after my first surgery

                            Thanks

                            • Hi Melissa

I agree with you on this schedule.

On the subject of moving, I don’t think that you should be lifting much at all. I know that many boxes are involved in the moving process....and it is so much easier doing it yourself but, don’t even think about lifting any boxes. Just one wrong lift can cause a whole bunch of problems! Its not worth it.

Just “thinking” about it can cause a whole bunch of problems! (smiley face)

You can always get help with this......”young help” with strong backs!

Don’t worry, you will get through all of this....

Ed, you are so right. Both my husband and my 17 year old son would kill me if I lifted a box. They will help me as much as they can

I am feeling better mentally. I am seeing the pain doctor Monday

                                Thanks for the good wishes
