  • Well, I had a horrible night sleep but at least today my arm feels back to normal level of pain. I am trying the norco and it seems to be working. Thanks everyone
for your good wishes and your faith in me. I will be starting the more aggressive OT/PT next week. At least, he only ordered it two times a week

        • Well, this morning my hand is tingling like it always is and my arm/shoulder is numb. Dr Bederman says to give it several days so that is what I will do. The norco
seems to be working, at least I got a good night sleep. I do not know if I mentioned this but he has released me from the Bending and lifting restrictions. I only
have the twisting restriction left. I still can only lift 10 pounds

            Hi Melissa,
Glad you are feeling a bit better. A good nights sleep is worth everything to me. I wasn't allowed bending, lifting or twisting for 6 months. Just be careful.

Sally, remember I am almost 6 months from my July surgery. I guess he is seeing enough fusion on my x-rays. I have to stop when I feel pain so I still cannot do
too much any way. I feel so much better with this new drug combo. I just want it to keep on working

So glad the new meds are helping. Hope the arm problem will get better in a couple days too. I'm sure you will be careful with the lifted restrictions--you've been through enough already! Take care. Janet

                              • It sounds like the fibromyalgia might be the cause of so much uncontrolled pain. I was so hoping the fibro specialist could help. Please try not to do too much, rest as much as you can. This will pass, I feel sure, it's a flare-up and not the first, so give in to it and let it pass. I wish I had some some better advice, some way to stop the pain immediately, because I know you've had far more than your fair share. Thinking of you and wishing the best for you. Let us know how you go. I'm sure we're all hanging out to hear things are improving for you.
