i hope you start to feel better every day....

Thanks Jess. My blood numbers are fine so I guess the itching is from healing

He feels the weakness is from my nerves being irritated

    • I met with the inhouse PT yesterday . I was scheduled to see him Monday but he said he ran out of time. He did an eval and will be talking to Dr Bederman about what to work on. He will be coming back next week. Now I have pain on the left side of my neck. That is new pain.Wonder what it is from?

I still cannot use my right hand which is very annoying. Dr Bederman says that the pain on my right side is muscular pain and also from my fibro

Happy turkey day to all who celebrate

          • I think that I over did Thursday because all I did Friday was sleep , eat and take pain pills. Finally, last night around 8pm, I started to feel better and today I still
            feel good. Thanks for asking

Well, I overdid it on Thursday and all I did was eat and sleep yesterday! Haha, and it had nothing to do with surgery!

I'm glad you've recovered from Thanksgiving.

              • It sounds like your pain meds are keeping you comfortable Melissa? Any sign of healing in the arm yet? Apart from walking, I think resting and eating's the best thing you can do for yourself right now. Rest those jangled nerves!

                    • Hi Melissa. I hope your outing lifted your spirits and glad to hear it didn't totally exhaust you. It's a good sign.

Do you have your arm in a sling?

I think getting out of the house is a morale booster. Once I started going out, I felt like I made big gains.
                        I'm glad you're doing better.

                          • So you can clutch things with your hand ok? Do you have any strength in the arm? Hopefully you get some improvement this week Melissa. How's your back? It sounds like you're in better spirits lately. Take care.

I can clutch things with my hand. That is not so much the problem. The problem is that my right hand has forgotten how to be a right hand. I cannot cut with a knife. I cannot brush my teeth or my hair. I cannot lift my hand to put it on the computer keyboard. This is just a few examples of what problems I have

                              • Thanks for explaining that Melissa. I didn't know the extent of the problem. You're seeing a physio this week aren't you? Hope you're getting improvements all round now. I think when you look back to how you were a couple of weeks ago, the improvements become more obvious. Take care.
