Melissa...is anyone with her?
is there a way a court can declare she should be in the hospital
as a danger to herself...i think the courts call it a 5150 in CA...
and that way she could be monitored for a few days...
perhaps long enough to get her on medication to help with
her depression...??
there must be some way for her to be watched or under
supervision of some kind for a temporary amount of time...
for her OWN safety...??
jess
Jess, She is with us . I am going to talk to our lawyer on Monday She needs to talk to someone and I will get someone for her to talk to
Thanks for caring
Melissa
Good news!!! FCS is investigating us,my husband,my son and myself, to see if we can be Yaffa's foster family. First, they check out our Drivers License. Then they do finger printing . Then a social comes to our home to make sure it is suitable for Yaffa. They they make their decision
I'm praying for you all, Melissa. What a time you are having. I'm so sorry. This sounds very hopeful.

Today we had some good news. Allyson is going to be allowed to supply Yaffa with breast milk. My husband and I were given Wednesday visits with Yaffa. So we will get to see her for the first time in about 3 weeks. Finally a case worker is coming over to our home Wednesday to check out the house and me to see if she can place Yaffa here.
Things are looking up. I do have a question. As most of you know, I am fused from C2 to pelvis. Any hints on how to get down to be on the floor with the baby.
All the very best Melissa. I hope everything works out well for you and your family and the very best of luck with your health. I look forward to hearing your progress in the future.

Good luck with your family and health. You have many things going on and I hope you remember to take care of you. Difficult I'm sure but your family needs you to be as healthy as possible. We'll await your posts and pray for better days to come. Janet
