Melissa,
My dermatologist recommended Appearex. It is Biotin in a more absorbable form and it especially helped my nails. You don't need a prescription for it but you might have to ask the pharmacist for it. It is cheaper in Target. It takes longer to help with hair, at least it did with me. I am also using Monaxadil of men and that is really helping with the hair. It is so embarrassing to have thin hair. Good luck.

Melissa--
So glad the nurse is coming to check on you. Finally getting to your Biotin question. I really don't know what I was taking at the time but now I just take along with some other vitamins a 1000 mcg. tablet a day. I know it was quite a bit bigger dose when I was having lots of trouble. Glad to hear a few good things happening! Janet

I have to wait until August 3rd. The Doctors decided that I will have my right hip replaced. I cannot believe how short he said the surgery will be. He said that it will only be 90 minutes and a two night stay in the hospital. I can either go to rehab or go home. It will be my choice. This sounds amazing to me after my spine and neck surgeries..
