Were the Doctors able to cauterize the ulcer while they were in there? The H. Pylori test would be common in this situation. I would be willing to bet it has already been done. I hope you are feeling better soon Melissa.

Dr Bederman just told me that steroids, both oral and injection, are related to ulcers. I am seeing Pain Management tomorrow and will discuss this with them
That's very interesting about the steroids--and totally makes sense. I sure hope you can get some good info tomorrow on a way to handle this. Good luck tomorrow. Janet

Lumbar Curve: 63 degrees to 5 degrees
Surgery with Dr. Lenke in St. Louis--March 30, 2009
T-2 to Pelvis, and hopefully all posterior procedure.
All was posterior along with 2 cages and 6 osteotomies.
Dr Jason B Samarasena, my GI Doctor wants me to take another CT Scan. He does not understand why my ulcer did not show up on the last two CT scans I took. They are taking to schedule it tomorrow
