I'm glad to hear that. You have a pretty demanding job. I work in law enforcement and after 16 years as a cop, didn't know I had scoliosis until last year. I love my job, but still don't have a definite answer about coming back. good luck

Thanks...You are all making me feel a lot better. My biggest concern is the "Fit to Work" program that my hospital has implemented before you can return to work after surgery. Even if your doctor says you're good to return to work, the PT department can declare that you are or are not "Fit to Work" based on being able to do a variety of ROM type exercises and lifting certain weight limits which for our job classification is around 25 pounds!
