I can't even believe that you are going through paperwork just two weeks after surgery! I was still getting my bearings in the guesthouse across from the hospital.
YOU ROCK.
BTW, car trips ARE such a challenge after surgery, but they serve as a measurement of progress, as well. I remember the first time I could say, HEY, I don't hurt as I drove over to physical therapy. Now, five months out, I just returned from doing some 4-wheeling on dirt roads outside of Moab, Utah. Real rough riding. It's like I almost FORGOT that I used to have issues with bumping along in a car.
Debbe, please tell your husband that he's a keeper in my book. I'm impressed that he would get onto the forum and learn about this scene. Besides, he was so elated about your outcome when he talked to me on the phone.
