Congratulations on your success so far Arizo. And all the very best for Wednesday (Thursday here.) Will be thinking of you.

Where is it itchy? What do the doctors say about that? I'm wondering if it might be a reaction to an antibiotic or something?

Look forward to hearing from you soon Arizo.

                    Goodmorning everyone.

Well just giving you guys a update haven't been on for a while.
The week after the surgery I was doing ok walking and what not.
Only thing was I would wake up in the morning coverd in sweat,
I guess it was a bad reaction I was having to the surgery/pain killer.
Anyways I guess bacteria got in to my cut.
The rest was another 2 weeks in the hospital and 3 more surgery to clean
Out the bacteria. (It was a common one found in the skin) my parents and fam
Were devestated. Whenn I was finaly home I was on a pick line for 4 weeks with
antibiotics. I lost around 35 pounds in the mnths of the surgery pretty crazy.
I'm doing good now got most my wieght back very healthy and on antibiotics for 4more months. I'm hitting pt and the gym again doing light stuff getting back to normall. Doc is suprised how well I'm doing. That's good stuff.

Wow, Arizo ... sorry to hear you had such a rough time, but glad to hear you're on the mend. Sounds like you're doing well now despite such a rocky start.

                      How are you feeling?

                      Take care,

I have read some of your experiences with your surgery. I am trying to make a decision when to have it. I am 59 yrs. old and noticed you are in your 50's. When were you diagnosed and what symptoms made you decide to have surgery? How long was your fusion? My doctor is planning to fuse just the bottom of my spine which tends to straighten out the rest . My main curve is in my lumbar spine.

                          Appreciate any input. Thanks.
