    Hi Berta...

    My understanding is that whether you can lift your arms afterward depends on how your fusion goes. It's definitely something about which you should discuss with Dr. Gorek.

      I wore the cathether for about 3 days... It's not recommended to wear it too long in case of UTI.

      I had the IV in me the whole entire stay at the hospital (9 days).

      I didn't know you could wear pajamas, underwear, etc. after you take out the cathether... Well, I still went undie-free just because it was easier to go to the bathroom. Besides, after the removal of the cathether, it gets pretty swollen down there.
