    I had a big rib hump and sideshift and they are much improved as you can see in the pictures.

      Pip - those are some sweet pictures, your correction looks awesome! I bet it feels great to be straight!

      Wore Boston brace as teenager, but curve continued to progress.
      Surgery on 12/13/2005 with correction from over 55 degrees to under 25 degrees. (Ya baby!)

        I don't know if you looked at my daughter's pictures or not, but she too has Kyphosis. She ended up with an amazing correction for both her Scoliosis and Kyphosis. Scoliosis before surgery was 46* and after 13* and her Kyphosis before was 72* and corrected to 14*.

            Hi Mary Lou,
            I just looked at your daughter's pictures.. that seems to be how I looked at her age because I had in the 40's curves then...she looks great now & I hope my kyphosis can be corrected too(85). I go next thurs. for my tests. I'll have to have my husband take a 'back' shot to post soon. Of course mine is way worse than your daughter's since I'm 46 & lost 4 inches. My 'hump' starts pretty low, I guess due to my bad lumbar curve...Ly

                I'm Karin. I had surgery for my scoliosis on October 13, 2005, and am doing well! I formerly wore a providence brace and did PT for treatment.
