not every medical problem can be fixed by a doctor...
and sad to say, sometimes doctors can make a problem
worse...
i had surgery on my toes...it did not help and in some ways
made it worse....there is another kind of surgery that should
have been done...i met one woman from CA who had the
correct surgery for same problem and she was doing fine...
different surgeon...different method...
but sometimes, there are medical problems that no surgery will
fix....and a procedure might add more pain to the original problem.
Kara...i really hope the doctor can help you and give you relief from
the pain...i know how awful painful feet can feel...

by a doctor...i hope they can find something that gets
rid of the pain for you...

trouble with painful spines without adding painful feet to

Hi Kara,
So sorry to hear about your foot pain. Is there a shoe insert that would support your foot so that you wouldn't have pain anymore? I have a metatarsal problem that causes the metatarsals to rub together because of flat feet and it causes extreme pain. He sent me to a brace Doctor and he diagnosed the problem and had a insole made specifically for my foot. I wear it almost always and the pain has gone away. Good luck in finding an easy solution.

Kara, i am so very sorry to read that you have to be in a foot cast...i am not sure what an "air cast" is, but it does not sound pleasant....
did the doctor say whether the cast will be enough to help your foot or if you will need surgery on it in the near future...?
wishing you healing and better days ahead...
