    Karen, You are a true inspiration to anyone contemplating major scoliosis surgery. You also have the fortitude and grit to go for it. We are all proud of you.

    Additional bone removed to decompress right side of L3-L4 & L4-L5 on 4/19/2010

      Thanks, everyone, for you nice comments. Do you know what is more surprising than me winning the club championship? The men's club champion received a kidney transplant from his sister in July of 2011 and had to work really hard to get his golf game back as well.

        You give me strength and courage that we can do anything! After being down for so long due to pain, I am pushing through and working hard to make a quick recovery to go back to the things I love. Thanks for giving me the added push/ drive to continue. You are an inspiration!
