Just beautiful! What a thrill it must be for you. It's like magic what great surgeons can do nowadays. Having scoliosis sucks, but unlike some disease processes, at least, this is one medical science really has made astonishing strides in managing it.

And godwilling, better and better with time!

If Quasimodo had lived today. he might have been a hunk instead of a "hump"
Not all diagnosed (still having tests and consults) but so far:
    Ehler-Danlos (hyper-mobility) syndrome, 69 - somehow,
    main curve L Cobb 60, compensating T curve ~ 30
Flat back, marked lumbar kyphosis (grade?) Spondilolisthesis - everyone gives this a different grade too. Cervical stenosis op'd 3-07, minimally invasive

Thank you for sharing those photos. My thoracic curve is 65 degrees (lumbar is around 50) and my surgery is scheduled for June 17. It makes me feel so much better about my surgery to see your pics. Glad to see you are doing so well.

Dr. Lenke sure did a fantastic job of “untwisting” you, Laura. You must be so thrilled. Congratulations on your excellent outcome. I’m sure you’ve given hope to many here who are exploring surgery.
