I know wearing a support or brace, in an adult, for pain may not be the best idea, but is there some kind of belt or lumbar wrap that would wrap around the lower spine, and up to as far as mid body, where my right thorasic curve is? I have a 60 degree curvature and would like to wear something that would give inward pressure, to get some pain relief?

You should get to a hospital supply store. They have all sorts of back support braces that you can try.

I'm told that a back brace is not a great long-term option unless one plans to wear it the rest of their life. Wearing a brace all of the time will allow one's abdominal muscles to atrophy.

I personally didn't have a whole lot of luck with a back brace....
Because I only had a single curve, my torso was pretty off center, and I had a hard time getting a back brace to stay in the right spot where it was giving me some support and relief... It always rode up on my right side...Blair
