    Sheena, just for the record, I think you meant you agree with Nikki, not kris. I'm Kris and I don't see a recent message in this thread from me. You are both right about being aware of what the nurses do, though. They are usually helpful, but also human like us. Kris

      oops sorry, i do that alot, and this morning i was having a conversation to my friend about this forum so i think i may have got distracted....
      your right, the nurses are very helpful, but i found that half of them didnt even understand english very well! i had to explain about ten times what i wanted, they did try, but they just kept getting things wrong. for exaple one instant is that they tilted my bed in an upwards position and it was agony, and then i tried to explain to them through shouts and crying that i had had a major back operation and they still didnt understand. it turned out that half of them hadnt even read my notes! and i was a private patient so you'd expect them to have read them!
