I found a book in the library about a girl with scoliosis!!!

Cute book. I've read it. There was another book I read once, ironically about a girl named Lisa who was a gymnast and had scoliosis and had to get a brace, and the way she dealt with it. I can't remember what it's called, "The Only thing that hurts is my heart." Or something along those lines. It was almost like someone wrote a book about me, but it was dancing not gymnastics that I was in, and eventually had to give up after surgery.

If you do a search on AMAZON.COM for books on scoliosis you can find a few good ones.

i read deeine, when i told my friend about it, she suggested the book since she read it. it helped me ALOT and i went out and bought a copy.
and a book called "are you there god, its me, margret." is another book by her that she SIGNED for me.. it was before i knew about deenie. =p
but ANYWAYS i HIGHLY suggest it. =]

I should go look for that book...my english teacher makes us read 600 pgs every 6 wks and i am WAY behind. anyways, my mom bought this book on scoliosis surgery and recover, because she freaked when the doctor told me to consider surgery. shes gunna make me read it...yay.
