        Hey Megz,
        You've handled living with scoliosis with a huge curve.
        SO, you know girl, you can handle surgery & recovery.
        My prayers to guide your surgeon's hands & enough pain meds
        to keep you comfortable!

          61 years old--57 for surgery

          Diagnosed in 1965 at age of 13--no brace
          Thoracic Curve: 96 degrees to 35 degrees
          Lumbar Curve: 63 degrees to 5 degrees
          Surgery with Dr. Lenke in St. Louis--March 30, 2009
          T-2 to Pelvis, and hopefully all posterior procedure.

          All was posterior along with 2 cages and 6 osteotomies.

                    I just couldn't help thinking about you and your surgery all day today.

                    I don't think I've prayed this hard since my surgery....

                    If you can have your mom or one of your friends post with an update at some point, that would be great.

                      Come on Megz! You should be done with surgery and on the computer right now! I posted like 3 hours after my surgery! Where is the iPhone or Laptop at!

                      Haha, I hope you feel great and recovery nicely in the hospital, just hang in there and you'll be home to recover. I honestly feel a lot better than last week and I'm only 1.5-2 weeks out of surgery. Good LUCK!
