You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. My dd is 6 1/2 wks. post op and doing well. Soon you'll be on the other side!
But the members of the forum will be here with you every step of the way!
God bless you!
Marian
I just want to wish your daughter a very successful surgery and a speedy recovery.
All the best,
Laurie
Mother of Alexander & Zachary:
Alex is 16 years old and in the 11th grade. He has congenital scoliosis due to a hemivertebrae at T10. Wore a TLSO brace for 3 1/2 years. Pre-op curves were T45 & L65; curves post-op are approx. T31 & L34. Had a posterior spinal fusion from T8 to L3 on 7/12/07 at age 12. Doing great now in so many ways, but still working on improving posture.
Zach is 13 years old and very energetic.
I wanted to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and best wishes. The answers, advice and encouraging words that I have received from this forum have been a big help.
I guess reality is setting in with Lauren. She has been extremely quiet tonight. I just hope she is able to sleep tonight. We have to be at the hospital at 7 a.m. Hopefully, she will be the first case unless a younger patient in scheduled.
Thanks again and I will try to keep you posted.
Charlene
