does this sometimes happen to you when you put a shirt on and u suddenly see the whole(s) from your brace? i hate when it happens to me .. I once tried to cover the hole on my brace with cloth and then put the shirt on but you can still see it... yesturday i went with a shirt and i suddenly felt very embarressed since you could've seen the brace just by the holes.. does anybody understand me?? is there a way you know how u can cover it?

The holes in your clothes are probably caused by screws or other metal on your brace. This used to happen all the time to David.
I suggest that you find the part of the brace making the hole - probably a screw or something - and cover it with moleskin - which you can buy at any drugstore. It can be cut into pieces to fit over the screws. I did this and it took a LOT longer for the brace to wear a hole through David's clothes.
Good luck,mariaf305@yahoo.com

mariaf,
its not that the brace makes holes on my shirt.. its that on my kind of brace there are holes so i know where to breath to.. and for air.. lol and by the way, i think that u are reffering to the boston brace that has screws and or other metal things.. anyways.. thanks for taking ur time and trying to help..My name is Rotem

When I wear my brace (Boston Brace) I try to wear more loose shirts so that you can tell about the holes and bumps, also avoid really starch white shirts they can sometimes be a bit see-through.My name is Katie and I love to Dance especially Ballet. I am 14 years old and after 3 years of the Boston brace, I'm officially brace-free! Great holiday present if I do say so myself

katie,
thanks for replying.. as you said.. i also wear kind of loose shirts as they are the most "non-see through" shirts. About wearing white shirts: I dont have any white shirts as they are the most see- through shirts for me.. the one think i look for when i buy shirts is that they are not made of thin fabric.
Thanks for taking ur time and replying =]]My name is Rotem
