Hey,
I'm going for the lovely string of pre-op appointments on Monday, and I wondered if anyone can think of any questions that they wished they had asked at their pre-op. I'll start out at Egleston (hospital), then go to the Emory Spine Center for x-rays and to meet with the doctor, then I will head to the PT office. If anyone can think of questions I should ask in any of these 3 places it would certainly help me out.

I tried 3 different Boston braces prior to the decision to have surgery
Surgery is scheduled for December 27, 2007 at Egleston
I'll be fused from T4 to L3

Original scoliosis surgery 1956 T-4 to L-2 ~100 degree thoracic (triple)curves at age 14. NO hardware-lost correction.
Anterior/posterior revision T-4 to Sacrum in 2002, age 60, by Dr. Boachie-Adjei @Hospital for Special Surgery, NY = 50% correction
