  • Advanced Biostructural Correction??

    Hi
    found this site
    http://www.advbiostructuralcorr.com/default.htm

Has anyone else read it or been treated with this technique? As someone with a progressing curve his theories make sense.

I started on a course of Osteopath yesterday. Hopeful, but debilitated with the pain.

    Cheers, from NZ

I've gone through this program with a certified ABC chiropractor for 2 months(2 times a week). We did both before and after x-rays and you can't really tell if there was any significant difference. The improvement in my main curve as mentioned by my chiro was about 4 degrees, which easily falls under the margin of error.

I became more flexible though as i went through the program, he really released much of the stiffness i was having. If you ask me it is just another one of those treatment programs that chiropractors give so that they can have an excuse to have you see them as much as 2 to 3 times a week, i really wouldn't count on it to actually improve your spinal curvature as an adult.

      Taken from Biostrucrural website:

Dr. Jutkowitz (who no longer holds a license and no longer sees patients so he can teach full time) discovered the basic physical reason body structures go wrong and how to consistently and predictably correct them as long as the problem is not cancer, infections, fractures or the like -- and can teach you to do the same.
Why in the world would a physician let his license lapse so that he could teach full time? Maybe it was taken away?

      The following link helped me:

      http://www.scoliosislinks.com/AlternativesDontWork.htm
      Original scoliosis surgery 1956 T-4 to L-2 ~100 degree thoracic (triple)curves at age 14. NO hardware-lost correction.
Anterior/posterior revision T-4 to Sacrum in 2002, age 60, by Dr. Boachie-Adjei @Hospital for Special Surgery, NY = 50% correction

I can't tell you whether or not these guys are legitimate because I know very little about scoliosis in general, period. That's my disclaimer.

However, what I DO know, is Marketing. And copywriting. I'm a web programmer / designer; My degree was a duel emphasis in Programming and Marketing by Design. I will tell you that out of all my clients, the ones really trying to sell something want their sites very plain, and they ask for the same criteria: Very plain text, bright reds and blues for headlines. A frequent client of mine is Cathy Goodwin, Ph.D and the site I made for her, after quite a bit of coaxing on my part is http://cathygoodwin.com

Her original site looked VERY similar to http://www.advbiostructuralcorr.com/default.htm in terms of copy and arrangement of it. She and the people she has referred to me have all wanted their sites done the same way in regards to text.

What I'm getting to, is that though I love Cathy and her referrals dearly, they play HARDBALL. They could sell a bum the cardboard box he's living in. The people who created that site have a very strong emphasis or contacts in aggressive marketing and it reeks FAR more of selling to me than it does of legitimacy. The only people I've come in contact with that utilize "Click Here", short blurbs, aggressive headlines, and tacky callouts are people trying to make money (or I suppose popularity).

Here is a preview of a typical, professional in the medical field - Note that they never pestered us to alter their text in any aggressive way. http://thespecific.com/index-1.htm

I have been a liason for hundreds of companies and individuals trying to get their message out for the world on the internet. This should help you on your search for a cure: Be wary of any site that tries overly hard to prove anything to you or lure you with "click here"s. People representing things that really work will not need to aggressively market

Yes, I am sure you are right, the bone ends cant be reshaped.

What is your view on Osteopathy?
Are all these things short term relief?
