We all want instant fix for pain and waiting it out is so difficult. I do know about the cervical stress areas.
I am able to take over the counter motrin. I do have to use it on a regular basis. The osteotomy site can get touchy depending on what I am doing.
The neurosurgeon had me have an EOS X-Ray in May. All of the fusion is stable and holding the neck in place.It gave him a better idea of how far out of place the shoulder and scapula are.
The decompression at the elbow is just part of the problem.At first it allowed my hand to warm up, but as the day progressed that went away. It is still very early though. I am sure it can improve.
With everything connected to the spine the displaced shoulder it tugging on the new surgery.
