I think that most of us with scoliosis are highly aware of our body position's and the forces they produce. It comes naturally. I myself with a full fusion and a degenerated neck live a "vertical" existence as this produces the least amount of forces......head up looking straight out, not looking down.
Texting is a quick process for me, its usually only a few times a day for 1 minute max.....Why my neck degenerated is not really known, and texting didn't destroy it, but looking down and writing at my desk over the years, probably helped. Looking down is bad, bad for the discs in the neck....
I found it interesting that there is now an App that tells us about the position our necks. Its an App that essentially tells us when we will be in pain. Isn't that something?
