  • Who is the Johns Hopkins scoli surgeon?

I remember back in 2012 that several on here had surgery with a dr
at Johns-Hopkins. I can’t recall the name though. Does anyone know who
    that might be?

I’m going everywhere trying to get help. Sick of being told “ everything looks good”.
Well, it’s NOT good. Need a dr willing to dig deep enough to find the problem.

April 20, 2012 surgery with Dr. Lenke

Pam, Chet was looking at Johns Hopkins... Dr Kebaish.

But, he was an extremely difficult case and I don't think they wanted to operate....I cant remember what happened with Chet's decision.

      Ed... thanks so much!

Thank you for your response Ed. I really do appreciate your
information. Any responses are greatly appreciated. Does anyone know
of Dr. Plas James at Atlanta Spine Institute?

        Ketamine Infusion

        Pam,

I want to mention Ketamine since its something a few of us have had during our surgeries...Low dose "Ketamine Infusion" has been increasing for chronic pain patients these days....it might be something to ask your doctor for your immediate pain. It is used with scoliosis patients during surgeries.

I never did Ketamine infusion after my surgeries, so the effects of this while I was in ICU were probably on a higher dosage. Put it this way, I had NO spine pain after my surgeries, but don't remember too much since the lights were on, and nobody was home. It can be quite powerful.

If anyone has any experience with "Ketamine Infusion" well after surgery for chronic pain, please post to let us know what you think.
