Good point susan she has a referral in to ucsf. My sister said she was going to call the doctor to she if she can be sent to shriners

Hi Kara,
I'm sorry to hear about your niece's scoliosis. I hope it is a small enough curve that she doesn't need any treatment for, but if she does go to UCSF, she would be in very good hands with Dr Diab. He does tethering which is a newer alternative to fusion.
I'm sure you will be a great source of comfort for your niece.
