Happily, those results are not that uncommon. There are several patients that were in similar situations who have had great results as well.
Another positive part of the whole tethering/stapling story is that we now have doctors in almost every part of the country performing these procedures - from the northeast (NYC/NJ/PA - where you have Drs. Betz and Samdani) - to the Southeast (Dr. Osawld-VBS, Dr. Asghar-VBT/tethering) - to the West Coast (Drs. Newton and Diab) and a few spots in between.
