I have my bone scan on Monday.
Kind of dreading it because I have to have a dye injected then go back in 3hrs for the scan which last 30-60mins. Unfortunately we live too far away from the hospital so we will have 3hrs to kill.
Looks like my pain levels will be at an all time high
Lorz-my surgeon said X-ray and CT are not reliable in revealing whether someone has fused or not.Fused T2-L4 with costoplasty on 3/11/10

i am sorry you are in such bad pain...
i had a bone scan years ago, for something unrelated to scoli...
it was no different from any other scan in terms of being uncomfortable
or painful...just inconvenient because of the wait for the dye to travel
around the body....
i hope they find answers for you....
jess...& Sparky
