It was a very good appt. First , my friend volunteered to drive me . That was awesome as it really is too far to me to drive. Second, Dr Hata had told me that he was going to charge me $350. Well, I received a very nice surprise when I checked in .They only charged $265. Then , he gave me the dilaudid script for my orthopedic pain and then morphine for my ulcer. It was a good appt

So, the morphine is for ulcer pain? What is the plan to heal your ulcer? Susan

Yes the morphine works on my ulcer pain. I am taking an acid reduction drug to heal the ulcer

I can only get one month supply of controlled substances at a time. So Yes I will have to go back . At least , I have some pain relief.

Oh I am. To have pain relief is so wonderful. People who have no pain simply do not understand.

Thanks all for your good wishes. I have a problem. The morphine is making me feel like I am going to throw up all the time. Does anyone have any suggestions about what I could take to counter that feeling? I am only taking the morphine at night becasue I , also, think it is making me tired , which is fine at night.
