With your medical issues, number of serious surgeries, and constant medical recovery, getting out of flying back to New Jersey and going to court shouldn’t be a problem. You are not physically capable of doing this right now.

Talk to your attorney about this. Talk to your doctor about this. Notify the court. List ALL your surgeries.

If your desire is to delay a trial, I think this shouldn’t be an issue.

Your in no position to make statements on meds, under oath, in a court room.

    • Not to sound morbid, Melissa, but winning or losing this court battle won't matter if you let yourself die by neglecting something that could be very serious! GO TO THE HOSPITAL. If you lose the case, at least you'll be ALIVE. I just hate greedy relatives. I'm glad my sisters aren't that way. I can't say the same for my step-siblings. Your brother should care more about YOU than the stupid money.

      • Honestly, I think he's a big part of the problem that you don't feel well mentally.

        • I was scheduled to go for a MRI today. I could not go through with it. I had such a panic attack that I felt as if I was dying. I am going to reschedule it but will take something ,like Valium

Also, my right foot is in such pain that I cannot walk on it at all. The vascular surgeon said that it is not his problem so I am back to square one.

Thanks for all of your support

I did get Valium so I will reschedule this MRI and then another one for my left shoulder.

I am seeing a neurologist today so I will discuss my right leg pain with him.

I have decided to go to NJ and get it over with. Even though I am so sick. My neurologist is sending me to a MS specialist. He feels that I have many symptoms of MS

                    • Wow Melissa, just caught up on your thread. You sure have been through the mill AGAIN. I'm glad your court date is postponed; it doesn't sound like it would be safe for you to go right now. Your granddaughter is absolutely gorgeous! Take care of yourself.

                        • I am not doing well at all. My right leg is in very bad pain. It feels like it is on fire with electric shocks going into it. I am meeting with the foot surgeon Wednesday to find out the results of the nerve conduction study that I did several weeks ago.

                          • Melissa--
Glad at least that the trial was postponed. So sorry about the foot problem. Didn't know about the nerve study--hope it can shed some light on what's going on and you can get relief.
How is your neck since that surgery? Did you do physical therapy before for it? My neck is the worst thing now--just neck must sound great to you!--lots of arthritis. Dr. Lenke said to try PT on my neck so I guess I will give it a go. Hang in there! Janet

                              • Whilst I know your medical situation is very difficult, I am wondering about whether the surgeries in recent times, have helped your pain Melissa? I know you had a few last year and I am wondering if those surgeries gave you relief? I do hope that one by one, they are giving you relief. I always wish I had a magic wand for you when I hear of your continuing/new pain.
