4 Month post op today
My son had his 4month post op With Dr. Bridwell today , all went well. He does still want my son to use walker for any distance walking but for short walks in house or school he can go without. He said at May appt they will do the pics for scans to see if bone is fusing. I attached some before and after xrays he had taken , I havent done this before so not sure its working? LOL

Wow, what a difference in those x-rays, Kelly! I'm glad that Cam is doing so well. Just curious, what does Dr. Bridwell use to see bone fusion? x-rays or a different technology? I am headed to St. Louis tomorrow for my 6 month!

Thanks everyone... Kath to bad we missed you by a day or two! Funny how we think alike I asked him too about the fusion just xray but apparently its different then what they take the other ones with?
My son and I were so excited to wean down some on the walker I forgot to ask questions about Physical therapy,bending , weight restrictions LOL and I forgot to give Bernie my email she took a pic of Cam & doctor I was going to post..

Kelly- That's awesome! Great correction and I'm glad things are going so well for Cam! Happy that he can reduce the walker. I emailed Bernie today because I went to the dentist and had my teeth cleaned and I had to do a high dose of amoxicillin one hour before my appt. All that metal apparently can attract bacteria.... I go back Feb 28 for my 6 month.
