Hi All,
Happy New Year! I hope everyone is well. I haven't been around in quite some time, life is busy! Ever since my surgery (6 years ago) my surgeon recommended that I take antibiotics prior...
my story is similar to yours. I was braced as a teenager and considered a success at that time; however, as I aged both curves progressed. I had surgery at age 46, and it was the best thing I could...
Melissa, you are in my thoughts. I hope the trial is going your way. ((Hugs))
Wow Melissa, just caught up on your thread. You sure have been through the mill AGAIN. I'm glad your court date is postponed; it doesn't sound like it would be safe for you to go right now. Your...
I'm glad you're doing better Sally!
Feel better. Falls are scary.
I started Zumba one year after surgery and have been doing every since. I love it and it doesn't bother me. Of course there are moves I cannot do, but I think I'm more self-conscious about not...
I am so sorry this happened and wish you good luck on your upcoming surgery.
the cold weather definitely makes it worse for me. I bought the warmest winter coats I could find after my surgery which helps. I avoid shivering at all costs.
I'm glad your neck is doing better Ed! I'm so with you on insurance, it just costs a fortune! It sure isn't like 15-20 years ago. I remember paying a $10 copay to have my daughter 14 years...
Good luck with your appointment, you're seeing one of the best.
as I was reading your previous post this morning, I thought, she has PTSD! I bet many of us had this undiagnosed after the surgery. How could we not? It was like our bodies went through a war. ...
Did you go see your doc? As I said in your other post, there is mental recovery that has to take place along with the physical.
Take care of yourself.
Awh, what sweet comments from your husband. It's easier for others to notice our small improvements in the beginning that we do ourselves. Give yourself time; 5 months is just the start of your...
It took me a good few years to get over it. What Susie said is right, you can't come out of this the same as when you went in. Now that I'm thinking about it, I think it was MORE than a few years...
Such great news and I'm so happy for you! Enjoy!
I had the tightness more in the early years. I'm 5 years out now, and knock on wood, I don't get much of it any more. Motrin helped me for that almost as much as muscle relaxants.
thanks for checking Linda.
Still nothing? I'm concerned.
Oh Sally your poor thing! I hope the meds do the trick!
I hope she's ok.
I'm so glad we're back too! I was also worried it was the end of our group. I'm coming up on 5 years myself next week, and I feel so normal!
It's so great to hear from you Sally! I'm glad you're coming along as expected. Take care of yourself!
I'm thinking of you Sally....hope all went well!
Good luck Sally, you will be in my prayers. I know all will go well!
