Hi....
The current issue of Spine has a paper titled "Complications and Outcomes of Pedicle Subtraction Osteotomies for Fixed Sagittal Imbalance." You can see the abtract here:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/q...&dopt=Abstract
There's a lot of good information in the article. As we have all heard, the complication rate was very high. Interestingly, however, 28 of 32 patients in the cohort were either Somewhat or Extremely satisfied with the results of their treatment. Only 4 of the 32 were not sure if they would have the same treatment again. The remainder said they either probably or definitely would.
Regards,
Linda
