Finally things makes sense

Hi everyone for who does know me. I'm kara I been a member since 13 years of age I have experience from both the nonsurgical and surgical treatments for scoliosis. Here a quick update on my crazy life.
We finally found out what my scoliosis I have hypermobile ehlers danlos syndrome. It makes a ton of sense becauses I was covered in bruises after my scoliosis surgery. I'm still trying to process the diagnosis.

I have Ehler's Danlos in my family as well. The problem is they won't do the genetic test for it. They did for my nephew. But many of us are hyper-mobile, too. Yes, it does make sense! Unfortunately for us, we also have a very rare neuromuscular disease that contributes to our scoliosis...yes many in my family have it. I hope you are doing well.
