Wow, I can't recommend this lecture highly enough for anyone who is involved with bracing their kids. It just really sums up all the issues, and all the studies we've been talking about here. It is really fantastic and useful. (You'd like this CD!) Dr. Sponseller sounds like a great doctor to go to if you're located anywhere near Johns Hopkins...wow, he really gets it...all the issues.
Here's his bio http://www.hopkinschildrens.org/staf...l.aspx?id=4148
And he also has a case of successful bracing shown with a Risser zero male, presented with a 36 degree curve and his spine looks quite straight seven years follow-up shown at 8:29 minutes into the lecture.
