Hi All,
I spoke to Anne tonight and she asked that I post an update for her. She sounds wonderful, and said she is doing remarkably well. She was worked hard at the rehab, I think for 3 hours each day. She and her husband are still in NY, now at the guest house. She left the rehab on Monday. She's had a visiting nurse and one PT evaluation at the guest house, and tomorrow will have a regular PT visit there. She saw Dr. Boachie on Monday and had the steri strips removed. She did say he yelled at her
because her feet couldn't fit in her shoes, so she went to the office in those little bootie things they give you at the hospital. Bad Girl!! He didn't want her falling or getting sick.
They will fly home on Monday and then once they get there, they have a 1.5 car ride. I told her to make sure she has the pain meds with her on the plane. Anne will post herself again once she is home.
