  • Scoliosis Correction Center in Connecticut?

Has anyone here heard of this place - the Scoliosis Correction Center in Hartford Connecticut?

I see treatments here that I haven't heard of before. Are they quacks or are they for real? They say that they don't believe in bracing at all.

When you get into this stuff, it's hard to know who to believe -- the esteemed scoliosis MD, or these alternative things. I'd love if some people here could comment on the quandry about knowing the correct way to proceed when your kid has been diagnosed with scoliosis!

    Hi Nikkismom,

We are from Connecticut and I have not heard of this center before your post. I would be very leery.

I agree with Samsmom. It doesn't sound on the up-and-up to me. I'd be very leery as well.

I would really be careful. I have heard that the treatment center is very expensive. They even spelled Spinecor wrong, whats up with that???
