  • Another cool milestone

Today I walked the same route I walked all the time for exercise before surgery - it's almost 3 miles and has a couple of little hills. I took my cane just in case but didn't lean on it -- mostly just swung it. The last 10 minutes or so were a little dicey, but I made it, dammit. I got home, lay down for 15 minutes, and was good to go after that.

Congratulations Chris - especially for digging in the last 10 minutes. And, being totally rejuvenated after 15 minutes is awesome.

Thanks ladies! Smug Appreciation of Myself -- I love it. I have to say it sums me up so well some days ....

The warm-water pool therapy is really helping to loosen up my traumatized muscles, especially around the ribs. I highly recommend it.
