View Full Version : Lightening Strikes!

I was reading the responses to Singer's post and ya'll talk about the electrical stuff. I've had a couple of those all the way up and down my spine but it was real quick. Now here is the weird part, I've never told anyone this except my wife when she would holler whats wrong. At least 10 times in the last 2 years I'll be about to go to sleep, I mean juuuust about there and it feels like my head exploded, it jolts me so hard I come up off the matress, even wakes up my wife I shake the bed so hard. It scared the heck out of me the first couple of times! It happened 2 weeks ago, may be 6 months before it happens again. I didn't know what to think, still don't, ain't about to tell a doctor, he'd probably order me one of those cute jackets with the double long sleeves. Have any of ya'll ever had this happen? I swear after it happens I am suprised to find my head is still intact.

I've escaped the lightning bolts you all are talking about... Whew! Chris, I really think you need to let your doctor know about the head ones. That could be something serious that he needs to know about. I am sure no one thinks you are crazy in that regard. Just fun and humorous in your posts, as well as caring and concerned.

I would visit a neurologist to rule out seizures and certainly tell your personal physician.
