My 16 year old sister has scoliosis with a 42 and 61 degree S curve. Her doctor recommended surgery as did the Shriners hospital in Dallas, TX.
She is undergoing a 2 month treatment in Seattle for her back. The first treatment is called Rolfing and the second is acupuncture. Rolfing is a way to deeply massage and manipulate the tissue around the spine. She has done 3 out of 10 Rolfing treatments. She saw results on the first treatment.
This may be something that can be a viable option.
BTW. Each treatment costs $1000 for an average of 10 sessions.
